My favorite cousin is in town visiting with her kids and she loves my mother’s Stew Peas and Rice. Unfortunately, my mom is no longer with us but I’m going to make it for my cousin. Of course, no one can match my mom’s but I have her recipe and her genes.

Harvest Time!
My tomatoes have ripen and it is time to harvest. I have and abundance of tomatoes and now comes to time to share and eat. Both varieties are sweet and juicy.
I have been coming up with ways to prepare them so I won’t get bored because as much as I have given away, more is yet to come. I lost two plants over the weekend when New York was hit by a tornado but I still have four plants left. Continue reading
